The glossy texture that increases with age is another of its charms. About ACACIA WOOD SHISEI's ACACIA WOOD series is handmade one by one by craftsmen. Since it is hollowed out from natural wood with no joints, there may be some knots or cracks due to drying. Acacia is dark brown in the center and white on the periphery, with distinct differences in shade. We consider knots and variations in grain and shade to be characteristics of the wood itself, and we want to use raw materials without waste and conserve limited resources. SHISEI の ACACIA WOOD シリーズは、一つ一つ職人の手作業により作られています。
繋ぎ目の無い天然木からのくり抜きになりますので、節や乾燥によるひび割れなどが生じる場合もございます。
アカシアは中心部が濃い茶色で周辺部は白色と、濃淡の差がはっきりとしています。
節や木目、濃淡のバラつきを木材そのものの特徴として捉え、 原材料を無駄なく使い、限りある資源を大切にしたいと考えています。
