The mouth of the piece may also have a raised part, which is formed when the glass is cut from the blowpipe and heat-treated. Glass is very sensitive to heat and temperature changes. ●「REUSE=再利用」ガラスシリーズ●
このシリーズは、名前のとおり再生ガラスで作られています。
溶かしたガラスを吹き竿ですくい取り、型の中でひとつひとつ息を吹き込んで作る吹きガラス技法で作られます。
ひとつひとつ人の手で作っているためガラスの流れや小さな気泡があります。
また口の部分に盛り上がった箇所があったりしますが、これは吹き竿からガラスをカットした後、熱処理した時にガラスが流れて出来るもので、これもまた吹きガラスの特徴です。
ガラスは熱や温度変化に対してとても弱いです。
耐熱ガラスではありませんので急に熱湯を注いだり、冷凍庫で凍らせたりしないで下さい。
