| A photo essay about my round-the-world bicycle trip, which I wrote with gratitude [Yay...]. It has been five years since the author* Sakamoto almost lost his life on that trip. After almost losing his life on that trip, the author*Sakamoto decided to return the favor to the people who saved his life. To his surprise, it was to dig a well to supply clean water to a village in Guinea, West Africa, where he had saved their lives! Although the idea came to him, the project, in which he had no experience at all, repeatedly took one step forward and then failed. However, after overcoming various hardships, the well was finally completed in June 2005! This is the inspiring story of a company employee's two-year journey to "realize another dream"! *We are constructing wells and renovating clinics in African villages with the idea of returning all royalties from this book to the people we have met and helped during our travels. |
