Katsushika Hokusai
Born in Edo between 1760 and 1849, Katsushika Hokusai began painting at around the age of 6, and at 19 became a student of Katsugawa Shunsho and entered the world of ukiyoe painting. He was also widely influenced by the French Impressionists and other European painters. He also had a wide influence on the French Impressionists and other European artists. His representative works include "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji," "Waterfalls around the Country," and "Hokusai Manga.
