| Hakusan Pottery G Shaped Cup & Saucer HAKUSAN G-type cup and saucer A classic design of pure white porcelain with a nostalgic brown rim. It is simple yet elegant and easy to use. It is a popular long-selling product and continues to be loved by many. The most distinctive feature of this G-shaped cup & saucer is that the rim of the cup is warped. This makes it very smooth to the mouth, and combined with the thinness of the cup, it makes it very easy to drink from. The handle is also molded together, so that there is no connection part, making the cup smooth and without any obstacles to the form of the design. The integrated design has created a slight indentation on the inside of the cup at the handle, but this is not a problem in particular. The cups are fired in a process known as fuseyaki. *The cup is fired with the back of the cup facing up. The glaze is applied to the base of the cup, which makes it difficult to scratch the saucer, but the edge of the cup is not glazed, so it feels a little rough compared to the glazed part. However, only a few millimeters of the saucer are unglazed, and it has been carefully polished and smoothed. カップは、伏せ焼きという方法で焼成されています。※カップの裏を上にして焼成します。
高台部分に釉薬がかかっている為、ソーサーに傷が付き難くなっていますが、フチ部分に釉薬がかかっていない為、釉薬がかかっている部分と比べると、若干ざらざらした感触が残ります。
しかし、釉薬がかかっていないのはわずか数ミリで、丁寧に研磨し滑らかにされています。
