Tosa Mitsuyoshi
Tosa Mitsuyoshi (1539-1613) was the founder of the Tosa school. He is considered the founder of the Tosa school. He is said to be the founder of the Tosa school of painting. He was a pupil of the heir to the court painter's office, and succeeded to the Tosa school at around age 30. He inherited the traditional style of delicate and beautiful painting, and left behind many Genji-e paintings in particular. His most famous work is "The Tale of Genji Picture Book".
