Description

Fudogama, located in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, inherits the tradition of Mino ware as represented by Oribe and Shino*Kizeto, and handcrafts modern, heartwarming, and original pottery that is particular about shape, weight, feel in the hand, painting, and glaze tone, etc. This warm white Kohiki square dish is handmade by craftsmen using the tatara technique. The gray lacquered surface is accented with a comb pattern. This square dish can be used for various dishes such as grilled fish. It can be set up with a teacup (sold separately) and used like a tray to put tea and snacks on. |
