毎日やると決めたことは、毎日やる。
週に1度と決めたことは、週に1度やる。
もちろん試合や大会などがあれば、
イレギュラーになることもありますが、
何よりも継続することが大切です。
そして、いまサッカーをがんばっている子どもたちには、
何にでも興味を持って、
いろいろなことにチャレンジして欲しいと思います。
巻頭の対談で、アキも同じことを言っていました。
サッカー選手になりたいからサッカーだけやればいいではなくて、
友だちと野球もバスケもオニごっこもやってみてください。
サッカーとは違った体の使い方や動き方があって、
それはきっとサッカーにも生かされるはずですから。
トレーニングの方法も同じことが言えます。
「これが絶対」ではなくて、
いろいろ試してみるといいですね。
いまやっている方法が、自分に合っているのか、
合ってないのかは、別のやり方で
やってみないとわかりませんよね。
子どもの頃からそういう習慣をつけていけば、
高校生くらいになったとき、
自分の体のことがわかるようになるかもしれない。
そのときのために、まずは継続。
