Description
| This kyusu is handmade in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, the city of copperware, one by one using traditional Japanese techniques. This kyusu is made by wax casting, which is considered to be the most precise casting method among the many casting methods. The kyusu is delivered in a paulownia wood box with a certificate of quality and maker. The gold and silver makie reproduces the scenery of the Ameharu Coast, a national park located at the end of Toyama Bay, a scenic spot where the magnificent Tateyama Mountain Range can be seen. The copper lid knob represents the famous cold yellowtail of Toyama Prefecture. The inside of the kyusu is coated with a self cleaning coating for tableware, which is non-stick and can be easily wiped off. |
