| Meisenban is [55cm x 59cm], the size of a common zabuton (Meisenban). It is very comfortable to sit on when used in a floor seating position. The feature of Platz's zabuton is its sitting comfort. It has a structure that releases pressure from above to the sides, so it firmly disperses body pressure. It is hard to put pressure on the buttocks, making it easy to sit for long periods of time. Indian cotton, which is strong and suitable for cushioning, and hollow fiber, which is excellent in moisture dissipation, are used for the filling. It is fluffy, does not get damp, and does not wear out easily even after prolonged use. 自然素材の心地良さにこだわって、
温もりのあるものづくりを目指しています。
座布団は畳に由来します。古代の畳は寝具と座具の両方を兼ねており、身分や権威を表す物で、その座具としての部分が座布団の原型ともいえる茵（しとね）へと発達していきました。
鎌倉時代になると、綿の輸入の再開と、生産技術の向上により、側地に布を使うようになり、江戸中期頃には生地の中に綿を入れたほぼ現在の形になりました。しかし庶民に普及したのは、大正時代になってからのことです。
