| Tatami has a good feel, rusticity, moderate coolness and warmth, convenience, comfort, ease of use, ease of storage, and ease of handling. More than just a housing component in the Japanese room configuration, tatami's sense of comfort, calmness, and quiet appearance relieves people's fatigue and creates a healthy living space. We produce these tatami mats using hana-goza, a specialty of Yanagawa, and the skills of Yanagawa City's tatami craftsmen. The pattern of the hana-goza is a checkered pattern, which is a typical Japanese grid pattern with different colors. The same technique as that used for Kakegawa weaving is used to produce the checkered pattern in order to beautifully express the unevenness of the pattern. It is placed in a carry bag with the [GOZA] logo. [Ken Tatami" registered trademark obtained. |
