The book explains how they saved local people in need with photos and illustrations. A worksheet is included at the end of the book, which is useful for practicing "Shirabe-Gakushu" (study through investigation) to organize materials and summarize ideas. In this series, one hero from each of the 47 prefectures is introduced for each of the fields of [development], [education], [medicine], [culture], and [industry]. A total of 235 heroes are featured in this highly readable series. |
