Description
Hiroshi Ietaka(Author) Merleau-Ponty attempted to "elucidate" the problematic system of space in terms of the temporality of the physical subject. However, the phenomenology of perception has another possibility: the spatial system of mutual composition between the physical subject and the objects of the entire field of vision. The middle term linguistic theory and the experiment with upside-down glasses provide a new interpretation of Merleau-Ponty's thought, leading to an elucidation of the history of ideas on various spatial issues. This is a richly original new study that presents a phenomenological relationship between the system and the subject with regard to the experience of space. |
