Description
The sword pattern [sanbonsugi] was created by sword smith Magoroku Kanemoto in the late Muromachi period (1336-1573). The name "Sanbonsugi" was derived from the fact that the three swords have a row of sharp, even-grained heads, with each of the three swords interlaced with a protruding, high, random pattern that looks like a row of standing cedars. The excellent traditional techniques handed down from the Muromachi period (1333-1573) are still used today in the production of blades. Seki Sanbonsugi De-edged Kitchen Knife 150mm The blade material is steel, so it needs to be cleaned each time. *About us Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, is a town of cutlery. We have been manufacturing each and every blade carefully by hand. |
