Each bowl is individually hand-painted. The artisan technique has been cultivated over many years, and the brush strokes are drawn with a spontaneous touch. Because they are hand-painted, there may be slight differences in color and pattern. Hasami-yaki is ceramics produced in Hasami-cho, Higashisonogi-gun, Nagasaki Prefecture. Hasami-cho in Nagasaki Prefecture is adjacent to Arita-cho in Saga Prefecture, and like Arita-yaki, Hasami-yaki ceramics have a tradition of over 400 years. |
