インドの伝統手法の一つにあげられるシルクスクリーンプリントは、大きな版を使い、木べらを滑らせながら二人がかりで1色ずつプリントする技法です。
使う色は1枚の版につき1色で、何度も色を重ねてひとつのデザインを完成させていきます。
一度に広い面積を印刷できるスクリーンプリントは、ブロックプリントに比べて効率的ではあるものの、色を重ねていく力加減や載せるインクの量など、職人ならではテクニックが必要になります。
柄の境に生まれるムラや揺らぎは手作業だからこそ味わえる魅力の一つです。
この製品は、日焼け、汗や水に濡れた場合の摩擦により、他の物への色移りや変色する場合がありますのでご注意ください。
素材の特性上、色落ちと縮む事がありますので、洗濯の際はネットに入れて他の物と一緒に洗わないでください。
蛍光増白剤・漂白剤入りの洗剤は使用しないでください。
長時間水に浸けておいたり、濡れたまま放置しないでください。
タンブラー乾燥は避け、自然乾燥してください。
