Description
| The Mino region, where Chips produces ceramics, is the largest producer of ceramics in Japan. While a lot of ceramics are produced, a lot of defective* damaged products are also produced. As the world is taking action for the environment, what we can do is to recycle unwanted [ceramic chips] as a resource. [SAI uses recycled clay made from our own defective products for about 20% of its raw materials. It is a very small step, but we hope that this activity will help the environment by giving the [ceramic shards] that could not be used as products a chance to color the table again.
