| The Mino region, where Chips produces ceramics, is the largest producer of ceramics in Japan. While a lot of ceramics are produced, a lot of defective* damaged products are also produced. As the world is taking action for the environment, what we can do is to recycle unwanted [ceramic chips] as a resource. [SAI uses recycled clay made from our own defective products for about 20% of its raw materials. It is a very small step, but we hope that this activity will help the environment by giving the [ceramic shards] that could not be used as products a chance to color the table again. We hope that the colorful tableware will bring color and joy to your table... |

チップスの陶磁器を手掛ける美濃地方は、日本一の陶磁器生産地です。
多くの陶磁器が生み出される陰で、多くの不良品・破損品も生まれています。
世界中が地球環境のために行動を起こしている中、わたしたちに出来る事は、不要になった「陶片」を資源として再利用することです。
「SAI」は、原料の約20%に自社不良品を砕いた再生土を使っています。
