Description
*Warm wood block print This is a lovely napkin/handkerchief with a rustic, warm print and lots of Indian charm! The fabric is firm and resilient. You will want to collect many of them in different patterns ^^. *Handmade crystals In India, there is a technique called wood block, which is made by hand-stamping hand-carved woodblocks. In Japan today, cloth is printed in the same way as newspapers are printed, but long ago, people in India, who did not have sophisticated printing machines, came up with the idea of woodblock printing in order to beautifully dye their own cloth with their own hands. This handkerchief is one of the products made by the old-fashioned method using wood block printing. The patterns of small flowers and vines that Indian women love, the light colors, and the slightly off-kilter patterns that only handmade fabrics can produce, remind us of the land far, far away. It may be a small piece of cloth, but it is filled with tradition and continental aesthetics. It is the result of careful handwork that takes a long time to complete, as the plates are changed every time the colors change. India is a treasure trove of beautiful cloth, but cloth made of woodblock has a special charm of its own. *How woodblock products are made Tilakita staff visited a local woodblock print factory. We hope you will take a look at this link to learn more about the process of making woodblock before you purchase. |

[Note] Because all of these products are made from scraps from the dress-making process, the size, color intensity and balance of the print on each item may vary slightly. The color may fade due to washing or wetting in the beginning. In addition, there is a possibility of color migration when rubbed against white clothing. Due to the nature of woodblock dyeing, the print may be uneven.
