| Atelier FOLK 5-ply kaya-fabric dish towel, coffee bird Designed by YUTA of [Atelier FOLK A kitchen cloth with a unique view of the world, featuring fun silhouettes of motifs typical of paper cutout artists and a vivid color scheme. The cloth is made of mosquito net fabric carefully woven in Nara Prefecture, the only remaining mosquito net production area in Japan, and embroidered and printed in Wakayama Prefecture. The cloth is made with starch paste used in the manufacturing process, so it looks crispy at first, but after rinsing with warm water several times, the paste is removed and the cloth becomes soft and fluffy. Kayagofu Kitchen Cloth made of rayon yarn is 1.3 times more absorbent than cotton, and is resistant to oil stains, removing them with just a quick wipe. The coarse weave of the kayagofu, which is unique to kayagofu, makes it highly breathable and quick-drying, so it can be used hygienically. 『Atelier FOLK』のYUTAさんデザイン
切り絵作家らしいモチーフのシルエットの楽しさと鮮やかな配色の独特の世界観のふきん。
日本で唯一残っている蚊帳(かや)産地奈良県で時間をかけて丁寧に織られた蚊帳生地の布巾に、和歌山県で刺繍やプリントを施した「かや生地ふきん」です。
生地の製造過程上で澱粉糊を使用するため、最初はパリッとした見た目ですがぬるま湯で数回濯いでいただきますと糊が取れ、ふんわりとした風合いになります。
レーヨン糸でできた「かや生地ふきん」は、綿の1.3倍と吸水性に優れ、油汚れにも強く、さっと拭くだけで油汚れを取ってくれます。
また、かや生地独特の目の粗い織り方を重ねたものの為、通気性にも優れ速乾性にも優れているため、衛生的にご使用いただけます。
