What is surgical stainless steel (316)?
Surgical stainless steel is a material that is extremely hypoallergenic among stainless steels, and is called [316 SUS316] in the JIS standard. Is surgical stainless steel safe for metal allergies?
Surgical stainless steel has attracted attention as a material that is less likely to cause metal allergies, but in reality, it depends on the individual. However, it is less likely to cause allergic reactions than cheaper accessory materials such as brass, chrome or gold plating, and is said to be safer than precious metals such as silver 1417 and pink gold, which contain a lot of copper, and ordinary stainless steel.
