青から水色、青緑にかけての色調の異なる寒色系を一段一段違えて細い縞に重ねて織った、美しい色のつながりを味わえるギャッベ。【厚み】は15、16ミリ位で薄めの生地、シルクのような光沢のあるウール【素材】は、見る方向によって濃淡の色合いの変化が大きく、いっそう上質感が際立ってみえます。
ハイランクに当たるシェカルーという種類のギャッベは、織り密度が通常のギャッベの数倍高く、ウールもより質の良いものが使われていますので、実物は一見して緻密な上質感が感じられます。毛足には艶めき感があって、滑らかな触り心地です。
