| Ricardo *Cáceres made a name for himself in the world of photography with [Paloma al aire], which documented the colorful pigeon races of Spain. Oscar Monzon of [KARMA], a highly acclaimed collection of photographs that exposes the relationship between cars and the people who drive them. [Alex Prademont for his meditative "Almost There," a composition about the extremes of the concepts of "nearest" and "farthest. And Antonio Covanova, who created [Casa de Campo] set in one of Spain's largest urban parks, Casa de Campo. In a culture that favors the immediate, these four photographers are facing the land of Spain and creating creations that are slowly brewing. The exhibition held at LE BAL, a photography gallery in Paris, in December 2010 will travel to IMA Gallery in March. This book, which will be released in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name, will allow viewers to fully appreciate and enjoy the vivid colors and humor of contemporary Spanish photography. |
