清水焼（きよみずやき）は、京都を代表する伝統工芸品のひとつで、もともと清水寺に向かう清水坂界隈の窯元で焼かれていた焼き物を指してそう言っていたのが始まりです。
現在では、京都市東山区・山科区の清水焼団地・宇治市の炭山などで生産されているものをまとめて「清水焼」と呼んでいます。経済産業大臣指定の伝統工芸品としての正式名称は「京焼・清水焼」です。
