The border (frame pattern) of this piece is also ivory in color, and although the motif is detailed, the coloring is clear from a distance. The weave is fine, with about 60-70 stitches per 10 cm. 明るいアイボリーをベースに、赤や青で細かな連続模様が織り込まれたムード産の手織り絨毯。イラン東部からアフガニスタンにも一般に見られるヘラート文様で、小さな花びらの形はマヒ（魚）と表現されることもあります。
この一枚は、周囲のボーダー（額縁の柄）部分もアイボリー系で、細かなモチーフながらも、遠目にみるとすっきりとした色使いです。
織り目は細かく、10cmの間に60-70目ほど。ウールのパイルがぎゅっと詰まって、踏みしめるとしっかりとした弾力が感じられます。
