| [GOLDPEARL×Shimajima] Kokura-ori has a tradition dating back to the Edo period, and Imabari towels have been produced for more than 100 years since the Meiji era (1868-1912). Both of them feature yarn dyeing, in which the yarn is dyed first to produce the pattern. [Under the supervision of Noriko Tsukishiro, a dyeing and weaving artist who also designs the SHIMA-SHIMA brand, The warp threads are woven at high density using Imabari Towel's excellent techniques, and the world of Kokura-ori has been expressed in the towel. Please enjoy the collaboration of Kokuraori with its colorful and three-dimensional striped pattern and Imabari towels with their high quality texture.
