The founder of our company, Gosaburo Momenya (Gosaburo Momenya), started manufacturing and selling willow wicker in Toyooka Shinyashiki, Tajima Province in Bunsei 2, which is the origin of Kiwada Co. We planned bags based on the concept of historical background. The bags are carefully sewn by skilled craftsmen in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, the largest bag-producing city in Japan. The main body is made of a canvas called [Fuji Kinmei Ume®]. This canvas has been treated with paraffin resin waterproofing so it is water-repellent and is harder than normal canvas. The texture of this material will improve as it is used. The opening has a lid without a zipper or magnetic buttons. The good thing about a tote bag is that you can put things in it easily, and this is an idea that allows you to use it without losing its convenience. The lid can be placed over the luggage to hide it from view, or it can be lowered to cover the pockets inside as a security measure. There are a total of six pockets inside, so it is convenient for storing small items. The handle is long enough to carry over the shoulder. It is a fairly large size, perfect for trips to the beach or the mountains. Of course, it is also designed to withstand everyday use. |

弊社の創業者、木綿屋五三郎(もめんやごさぶろう)が文政2年、但馬国豊岡新屋敷にて柳行李の製造販売に着手したのが現在まで続く木和田株式会社の祖です。歴史的背景をコンセプトに鞄を企画してみました。鞄生産日本一の街、兵庫県豊岡市の熟練の職人達が丁寧に縫い上げています。
本体は「富士金梅®」と言う帆布を使用しています。この帆布は「パラフィン樹脂防水加工」が施されているので撥水性があり※完全防水を保証するものではございません、通常の帆布より硬めに仕上がっています。使っていくうちに風合いが増す素材です。
開口部はファスナーやマグネットボタンなどをあえて使わず、ふたを付けています。
トートバッグはポイポイと物を入れる事が出来るのが良いところですが、その利便性を損なわず使っていただけるアイデアです。荷物の上にかければ目隠しになりますし、下側に下ろしておけば内部にあるポケットを覆う事が出来、防犯対策になります。
内部には合計6個のポケットが備えられているので、小物の収納にも便利です。ハンドル部分は肩にもかけられるように長めに作られています。結構大きめなサイズで、海や山へお出かけになる時にピッタリです。もちろん普段使いにも十分耐えられる仕様になっています。
