当初、胴体に直接穴をあける「胴あけ」茶こしタイプ「でべそ」が
主流でした。
機械化が進み「ささめ」「セラメッシュ」など
使いやすい陶器製の茶こしが全盛となり、
これらの茶こしで急須を作る職人は少なくなりました。
この初期型の茶こしを改良し
現代風にアレンジした茶こしが「陶細:とうさい」です。
従来よりも大きな茶こしはお茶の出方もよく、
葉詰まりしないようにしました。
温故知新という言葉があるように、
