The roots of Mino ware can be traced back to the Jomon and Yayoi periods, and the pottery culture represented by Shino and Oribe blossomed in the Azuchi-Momoyama period. Among all the kilns in Japan, Mino ware has a long history and has been loved by tea masters such as Sen no Rikyu and Furuta Oribe, as well as artists such as Rosanjin.
