| This Hasami-ware makes use of the warmth of the clay, yet the design is sophisticated. First of all, it is light and easy to hold, with a deep shape. Because it is moderately deep, it can be used not only as a tea bowl, but also for miso soup, etc. . It is also useful as a soup bowl. The white color of the "kohiki" (powder-coated metal powder) is beautiful and relaxing. The lines are of course hand-painted on the Kohiki pattern, and polka dots are placed at key points. The green polka-dot pattern on the large size and the red polka-dot pattern on the small size create a nice atmosphere. The inside is also casually decorated with polka dots. There are many dot patterns, but none of them are so elaborately painted. I think it is really rare. It will become familiar and tasteful as you hold it in your hand and use it.
