| *[REUSE=reuse]Glass Series*. As the name suggests, this series is made of recycled glass. It is made by a glass blowing technique in which melted glass is scooped out with a blowpipe and blown one by one into a mold. The glass is then blown one by one into a mold. Since the glass is made entirely by hand, there may be some bubbles, small bubbles, or There may be small bubbles or raised areas at the mouth of the piece. This is a characteristic of blown glass, and is caused by the flow of glass during heat treatment after the glass has been cut from the blowpipe. Please enjoy the slightly different atmosphere and texture of each piece. *Glass is very sensitive to heat and temperature changes. このシリーズは、名前のとおり再生ガラスで作られています。
溶かしたガラスを吹き竿ですくい取り、
型の中でひとつひとつ息を吹き込んで作る吹きガラス技法で作られます。
すべて人の手で作っているため、ガラスの流れや小さな気泡、
口の部分に盛り上がった箇所等がある場合がございます。
これは吹き竿からガラスをカットした後、熱処理した時にガラスが流れて出来るもので、これもまた吹きガラスの特徴です。
1点1点微妙に異なる雰囲気や風合いをぜひお楽しみください。
※ガラスは熱や温度変化に対してとても弱い性質があります。耐熱ガラスではありませんので急に熱湯を注いだり、冷凍庫で凍らせたりしないで下さい。
