Description
| Ancient custom [morishio] and auspicious animals for good health *Business prosperity Morishio is made in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture, one of the largest ceramic production centers in Japan. [Morishio" is a traditional Japanese custom of placing a "morishio" on either side of the door or inside the house to bring good luck, purify the body, and ward off bad luck, as well as to bring prosperity, good fortune, and good health to all visitors. Nowadays, they are placed not only at the front door, but also around the water in the toilet and bathroom, and in the bedroom, and can be easily incorporated into daily life by replacing them twice a month (1 day * 15 days). The transparent white porcelain bowls are made of carefully blended raw materials, and the morishio vessels (molds for making morishio) are polished one by one by skilled hands to create a rough finish that looks as if it has been heaped with salt. [How to use]
1. Fill a morishio container (cone-shaped) with salt using a spoon or other utensil. 2. Press the salt in lightly with your finger or the back of the spoon until the salt is fully grated. 3. Turn the morishio plate over and place it on top of the morishio bowl. 4. Gently pull up the morishio dish. *Use [coarse salt] for the salt. Ideally, change the morishio every day, but replace it with a new one at least twice a month (1 day * 15 days). When you have finished using the salt, please do not reuse it, but rather promptly flush it away in the kitchen or bathroom. |

日本屈指の陶磁器産地である岐阜県瑞浪市において作られた動物縁起もりしお。
「もりしお」とは、玄関の両脇や家の中に置き、商売繁盛や千客万来、無病息災などの縁起担ぎや幸運を招くための浄化、厄除けなど日本に古くから伝わる風習です。
今では玄関だけではなく、トイレや浴室の水周りや寝室などに置き、月に2回（1日・15日）の交換で手軽に日常生活へ取り入れることができます。
透明感のある白磁器は原料の配合にこだわったものを使い、もりしお器（もりしおを作る型）は素地を一つ一つ熟練の手によって磨き、まるで塩を盛ったようにも見えるざらつきのある仕上げ。
また、お皿には縁起が良いとされる動物を形取り、陰影によって立体感のある表情に仕上げています。
■各動物が持つ意味合い
●鶴 ：「鶴は千年」や夫婦仲が良く一生を連れ添うと言われ、長寿や仲良きことの象徴となっています。
●亀：「亀は万年」や甲羅の模様が六角形であることから吉兆図形な長寿や金運の象徴となっています。
●梟(ふくろう)：実際に漢字では「梟」と書きますが、福籠（福が籠る）、不苦労（苦労知らず）とも呼ばれ、また首が回ることから周囲がよく見えるなど学問向上や商売繁盛の象徴となっています。
●兎：前に向かって飛び跳ね、イメージでもある「月」と「ツキ」をかけて幸運の象徴となっています。
●鯉：滝を登った鯉が龍へと変化したと言われ、鯉のぼり同様、立身出世や成功の象徴となっています。
●猫：古くから人々に愛され、特別な力を持っていると言われている猫。 「招き猫」に代表されるように福を招く象徴となっています。
