2017年10月、「1日10分でちずをおぼえる絵本」を一部改訂しました。
変更したのは栃木県・山梨県・島根県・鳥取県・岡山県の基本イラスト。
他にも新しい世界遺産などを追加しました。上の5県は小学生でも忘れやすい難関県で、
「小学生版 1日10分日本地図をおぼえる本」に連動してより楽しく、覚えやすくしました。
著者の、あきやまかぜさぶろう先生の本業は画家ですが、有名進学塾や幼稚園、保育園などで、長年、子どものお絵描き教室を指導してきました。著書「1日10分でえがじょうずにかける本」（ドリル・講談社刊）シリーズは100万部突破のベストセラー。
