本製品は熟練の職人により一本一本丁寧に手作業で作られており、生地の裁断や縫製、張り付け作業や部品の取り付けに至るまで、完成には手間と時間を要します。
傘の顔ともいわれる手元（持ち手）部分には天然木の椿を使用。手によく馴染み、木そのものの質感や使うほどに上品なつやが出てくる変化をお楽しみいただけます。
石突も椿で出来ており、中棒には樫（カシ）の木、生地は兵庫県西脇市で織られた、優れた品質と風合いをもつ「播州織」を使用し、天然素材で揃えた味わい深い仕上がりとなっております。

日本国内で一年間に購入・消費される洋傘の市場規模は世界一といわれています。
頭や上半身を日差しから守ってくれるのが「日傘」ですが、日陰を作り「涼しくなる」という効果以外に、有害な紫外線から肌や目を守ります。
