インドの中でも産地である
ラジャスタン地方ジャイプールで
ハンドメイドにて作られています。
生地を板や糸で
圧縮したり、巻いたり、縮めたりして、
染色されるところと染色されないところを
作り出すことで模様にしていきます。
それを一枚一枚、
一つ一つ手作業でしていくので、
模様の出方や染めの具合など
それそれ違った素朴な魅力がつまった
布が出来上がります。
こちらのカーテンは7箇所のリボン付き。
