Description
[Craftsman House #70] Craftsman House original cat tableware. The nekoneko series features a cat playing in polka dots. Please enjoy a different cat for each item. If you look closely at the word neko in polka dots, the letter o is a cat's eye. (Mino Ware) *Minoyaki Mino ware has a long history, dating back to more than 1,300 years ago. At first, Sue ware techniques were introduced from the Korean peninsula. In the Heian period (10th century), ceramics with an ash glaze known as shirashi (white porcelain) began to be fired. Shirashi was an improved version of Sue ware with a glaze. From this time, the number of kilns increased and the area became a full-fledged pottery production area. From the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the early Edo period, pottery reflecting the tastes of tea masters was produced along with the popularity of the tea ceremony. |
