[Craftman House No. 70]
A Mino ware mug. The handle has a distinctive shape, and the base is partially water-repellent to create a lattice pattern. How about for daily coffee, cafe au lait, tea or milk tea?

* Mino ware Mino ware has a long history, dating back more than 1300 years ago. At first, the technique of Sue pottery was introduced from the Korean Peninsula. In the Heian period (10th century), pottery with ash glaze called white porcelain began to be baked.
This white porcelain is an improved version of Sue porcelain that uses glaze. Around this time, the number of kilns increased, and it became a full-fledged pottery production area. From the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the beginning of the Edo period, along with the popularity of tea ceremony, pottery that reflected the tastes of tea masters was produced.
