This mug is made of Mino ware. It has a simple shape, but the handwork by Ichikin is also used on the bottom of the mug. How about this for your daily coffee, café au lait, tea, or milk tea?

*Minoyaki
Mino ware has a long history, dating back more than 1,300 years. At first, Sue ware techniques were introduced from the Korean peninsula. In the Heian period (10th century), ceramics with an ash glaze called shirashi began to be fired.
Shirashi was an improved version of Sue ware with a glaze. From this time, the number of kilns increased and the area became a full-fledged pottery production area. From the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the early Edo period, pottery reflecting the tastes of tea masters was produced along with the popularity of the tea ceremony.
