restored folding screen of a garisode (Genroku kosode) This product was planned and designed by Setsuto Kurotake, our representative*. Features and Notes Right: uchikake (women's uchikake with date-dyed design on scarlet crepe) Left: Ryochi (women's uchikake women's uchikake) with design of sewn-in cut-outs on white delaine ground First year of the Tennawa Era (1681) The left shows the word "Chitose" in appliqué (kiritsuke), and the right shows the word "Wakatake" in katagamochi. Both are dyed using the motif of a bamboo fence. The combination of similar designs, but the difference in color scheme and construction is interesting. *This product takes 2 to 3 months for delivery (immediate delivery is possible if the product is in stock). 右:地緋縮緬伊達染文様御裲襠
左:地白綸子縫入切付文様御裲襠
天和元年(1681年)
左は「千歳」の文字をアップリケ(切付)で、右は「若竹」の文字を型 鹿の子で表現している。共に竹垣のモチーフを利用して地を染め分 けている。似かよった意匠の組合せであるが、配色や施工の違い に面白味がある。
