| This umbrella has a duck motif (duck head) made of recycled material. It folds compactly in thirds and opens automatically with a button on the handle (it closes manually). It is also designed to be wind resistant. Original Duckhead is a London-based design umbrella brand started in 2012. Our philosophy is simple: we make the best umbrellas that make people feel good. The plastic umbrellas that abound in our daily lives are very convenient, but they also pose a serious environmental problem due to the waste they generate. The original Duckhead is made with a solid purpose in mind and is designed to be used sustainably. The handles are handcrafted from a sustainable timber called Schima Superba, a tree native to China that can grow up to 30 meters tall. It is easily renewed naturally and can be used to regenerate forests by growing dormant shoots on the rootstock left behind after the tree is cut down. リサイクル素材を使用したアヒルモチーフ(ダックヘッド)の傘です。三つ折りでコンパクトになり、持ち手部分についているボタンで自動で傘がオープン。（閉じるときは手動になっています。)骨の素材はスチールとグラスファイバーを使用しているので軽量＆丈夫に。風にも強い設計になっています。
Original Duckheadは、2012年からスタートしているロンドンを拠点とするデザイン傘ブランド。私たちの理念はいたってシンプル：私たちは人々の気分が良くなるような最高の傘を作ることです。日常にあふれているビニール傘はとても便利ですが、ゴミによる深刻な環境問題にもなっています。オリジナルダックヘッドはしっかりとした目的のもと、サスティナブルに使い続けられるように作られています。ハンドルはSchima Superba（木荷）という名の持続可能な材木を使用して手作りされています。Schima Superba（木荷）=中国原産の木で30mにもなる大高木。自然更新が容易で、樹木の伐採後、残された根株の休眠芽の生育を期待して森林の再生を図る方法も出来ます。私たちの美しい世界を救うことは、すべての生産決定において考慮すべき重要な事項です。では、濡れないように気をつけて。
