First, an iron plate is cut out and shaped with a hammer and an anvil, then covered with a mixture of copper and brass powder, encased in clay, and baked in a kiln. ●カッチの手作りベルについて
インド・グジャラート州カッチ地方に伝わる手作りのベルです
昔、この地域に住む遊牧民は職人の手により調音されたベルを家畜の首につけ、その音色の違いでそれぞれの家畜を分けて認識していたといわれています
●製法について
ベルは今でも変わらない製法で作られ続けています
まず鉄板を切り出し、ハンマーと金床で形を整えたら銅と真鍮を混ぜた粉をかけ、粘土で包んで窯で焼きます
最後に舌を取り付け再度ハンマーでたたいて調音します
