The hemp charcoal glass is a technique where hemp charcoal powder is sprinkled on hot glass, and then the glass is rolled over the hemp charcoal, creating bubbles by encasing the hemp charcoal. (Each bubble in the glass is generated from the hemp charcoal.) And since light has both "wave" and "particle" properties, when light "passes through" the bubbles generated by the hemp charcoal, it has some "positive effect" on the properties of light, and at the same time, it may have a positive effect on the food and drink in the glass (or the space outside in the case of the light) as well! We believe that this is the case. This is the opposite of the green or brown bottles used for sake and wine to prevent deterioration due to sunlight.
