*The Hana-Mishima series of earthenware pots made by GINPO Japan (Ginpo Toki), a top brand of earthenware pots that has been loved since 1972 (Showa 47), is a timeless masterpiece. Made in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture.

*It was around 1960 that the name "Yokkaichi Banko-yaki" became known throughout Japan. By mixing petalite, a mineral, into the clay and firing it, the heat resistance was greatly improved, and the earthenware pots of Yokkaichi Banko-yaki spread throughout the country.

*Among the many earthenware pots made by Banko-Yaki in Yokkaichi, the "Hana-Mishima" series is widely used not only for general household use but also for commercial use because of its excellent heat resistance and sturdiness.

*This product is designed for direct flame use only and cannot be used with an electromagnetic cooker.

*This is a product with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of 6,500 yen.

This is only a small part of the production process, but there is much more time and effort that goes into making these pots in order to provide safe and reliable earthenware.
