| Superhuman Rock] has been the lifework of Seiyuki. The year 2017 marked the 50th anniversary of the birth of [Chojin Rock]. When science fiction manga had not yet taken root in Japan, the superhero [Choujin Rock] appeared like a comet. Superhero [Choujin Rock] appeared like a comet when science fiction manga had not yet taken root in Japan. The author, Yuki Sei, was in his third year of high school. It was the fourth work he contributed after joining a coterie [drawing group]. In 1977, it was introduced in a commercial magazine [Monthly OUT], and in 1979 [Chojin Rock] appeared in the first color of [Weekly Shonen King]. As soon as [Chojin Rock] appeared in the opening color of [Weekly Shonen King] in 1979, its popularity exploded! In 2017, an exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the birth of the work [50th anniversary of the birth of Choujin Rock] was held, and now the exhibition [50th anniversary of the birth of Choujin Rock] is being held. The exhibition is currently traveling to Niigata City Manga no Ie (until April 10, 2018). This book looks at the 50 years of the exhibition and features color drawings of [Chojin Rock], congratulatory messages from celebrities in various fields, and a special exhibition of the work of Yuki Sei and Minamoto Minato. It is a long-awaited book for fans, featuring color drawings of [Chojin Rock], congratulatory messages from celebrities from various fields, and a dialogue between Yuki Sei and Taro Minamoto. 2017年は『超人ロック』生誕50周年を迎える節目の年でした。
日本ではまだSFマンガが定着していなかった頃、彗星のごとく現われたスーパー
ヒーロー『超人ロック』。作者／聖 悠紀が高校3年生の時のことでした。
同人「作画グループ」に入会し、4作品目の投稿作品です。
77年に商業誌「月刊OUT」に紹介され、79年『超人ロック』が「週刊少年キング」
の巻頭カラーで登場するやいなや人気は爆発！
2017年には作品生誕50周年を記念した展示「聖 悠紀『超人ロック』生誕50周年」展が
開催され、現在では「新潟市マンガの家」に巡回しています（2018年4月10日迄）。
