Description
| This is the first photo book to introduce the fascinating landscapes of Tokyo's nine metropolitan gardens. Tokyo is blessed with more parks and green spaces than any other large city in the world. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government manages the Tokyo Metropolitan Gardens, which are urban oases where visitors can enjoy the beauty of traditional Japanese gardens and seasonal flowers. Many people visit these gardens, especially in recent years, and the number of inbound visitors has been increasing. The photos were taken by Norihisa Kushibiki, who was in charge of taking promotional photos of the Tokyo Metropolitan Garden as the official photographer. The book contains about 100 photos carefully selected from the vast number of photos taken by Mr. Kushibiki. Some of them are newly photographed. With the Tokyo Olympics*Paralympics just around the corner, the main text and photo captions are written both in Japanese and English so that visitors from overseas can easily view them. |
