Description
A Goshuincho that uses woodblock Japanese paper for the front and back covers. Each piece is finished by hand at "Nishikawa Shigyo" in Kyoto. It can be used for a variety of purposes such as collecting red stamps at shrines and temples, attaching photos to photo books, scrapbooks, travel diaries. The Japanese paper inside is made of new bird paper with good ink paste. The color of the paper is cream. -About woodblock Japanese paper- Woodcut Japanese paper handcrafted by craftsmen one by one at the Kyoto woodblock workshop "Take Sasado" that has been using AIUEO's designs for over 100 years. The process of woodcutting, drawing a picture, carving a woodcut, and rubbing with a barren, was all done by hand. It is a washi paper produced by the traditional printing technique in which the patterns engraved on a tree are colored with handrails for each color. Each face has a different texture due to the unique texture of woodcuts, such as lines, surfaces, and irregularities that are fluctuated by human hands. Please enjoy it as a unique texture. |
