イエメン産。
標高2,000mを超えるアラブの砂漠地に紀元6世紀コーヒー発祥の地エチオピアから伝播して以来、1500年の年月の間、脈々と生産が受け継がれた秘伝のコーヒー。
イエメンのコーヒー収穫期は10月〜12月です。その昔農家からのドライチェリーを買い付けた中間業者が、洞窟等にいったん保存してから輸出会社に販売するために生豆のカラーがゴールデンになるといわれているそうです。
