| Yugami 19.5cm oval bowl with a stripe The combination of the glossy mirror-like inner surface and the vigorous brushstrokes on the edge of the bowl make for a series that is full of flavor. It has a swirl-like pattern. This is Re-Shokki tableware made of recycled ceramic clay, which is rare for Japanese tableware. [What is "Re-Shokki"? Re-Tableware" is an eco-friendly and ethical tableware made by crushing collected unwanted tableware and mixing it with clay once again to give it a new appearance. [Re-Tableware was born in 1999 in Mino, Japan, with the cooperation of many people both inside and outside the production area, in an effort to change the common belief that ceramics cannot be recycled even though materials are becoming increasingly depleted. The circle of never-ending resource recycling and a new ethical lifestyle is being born through the cooperation of many people, including users, makers, and sellers of tableware.
