| *This Minoyaki tableware is made in Japan and incorporates beautiful traditional Japanese patterns. *The checkered pattern is a weaving pattern that has been seen on haniwa (clay figurines) and dyed textiles in the Shosoin Repository at Horyuji Temple since the Kofun period, and was called "Ishidatami* arare (hail)" in the court nobility's aristocratic tradition.
