Description
| Nico, a dwarf, and Dada, a robot, made a big, big candle from a beehive they found in the forest. They put it on a carriage and set off for somewhere. The carriage moves along at a leisurely pace, with Dada singing a song to the pitter-patter of the horse's hooves. There are dwarfs carrying strawberries that are bigger than their bodies. A flying motorcycle with cinnamon on its back passes them. While eating lunch on a hill, I see a boat heading somewhere over the lake carrying blackcurrants and eggs. From the window of the train, many pastry chefs are waving to us. The two of them get back on the carriage and go on their way at a leisurely pace. Soon, they came into view. The dwarf patissiers were making a big, big cake with the ingredients that everyone had brought in. When the cake was finished, Nico's candle was placed at the top. When the candle was lit, a voice could be heard from the sky. It is the moon. [Today is the day of the children's farewell. Thank you, children for being born, I'm glad to have so many friends!] After the children made their wishes and the moon blew out the candles, everyone ate the cake. How delicious it was! 小人のニコさんとロボットのダダくんは、森の中でとってきたハチの巣から、大きな大きなキャンドルを作りました。ふたりはそれを馬車にのせると、どこかにむけて出発します。
馬のひづめのパカポコという音にあわせて、ダダくんが歌をうたいながら、馬車はのんびり進みます。
体よりも大きなイチゴをつんでいる小人たちがいます。
シナモンをつんだ空飛ぶバイクが追いぬいていきました。
丘の上でお昼を食べていると、湖の上をカシスの実や卵をつんだ舟がどこかにむかうのも見えます。
汽車の窓からは、たくさんのパティシエたちが、ふたりに手をふっています。
ふたりはまた馬車にのってのんびりと進みます。
やがて、見えてきました。
みんなが運んだ材料で、小人のパティシエたちが、大きな大きなケーキを作っているのでした。
やがてケーキができあがると、そのてっぺんに、ニコさんのキャンドルがかざられました。
キャンドルに火がともされると、空の上から声が聞こえてきます。お月さまです。
「さあ、きょうは、こどもたちのおいわいの日だ。ありがとう、うまれてきてくれたこどもたち、たくさんのともだちができてうれしいよ！」
こどもたちが願いをこめて、お月さまがキャンドルをふきけしたあと、みんなでケーキを食べました。
